A perfect, true vintage bamboo bangle made in Chester 1962.
Unusually we can pinpoint the month that this piece was made and this is because the date letter 'M' which is present as part of the hallmark corresponds with the date 1st July - August. We know that the Chester Aassay office closed permanently on 24th August 1962 so we can say positively that this piece was made some time during 1st July - 24th August 1962. COOL, HUH?
When I popped this bangle on to take stok photos, my heart sank a little. It's PERFECT. It oozes cool. It's big and bold. It made me want to get rid of my own bracelets and just wear this one, on it's own, forever.
It's a substantial weight of 14.1 grams which you need in a bangle in my opinion. They're rigid and they get banged around quite a bit so you need something robust.
Important:
The internal diameter measures 4.38cm. My wrist measures 3.5cm wide and the piece fits perfectly with plenty of room but I like my bracelets and bangles loose. This piece isn't suitable for a wrsit any wider than 4cm.

All of my pieces are at the very least pre-loved and most of them are vintage or antique. This item is not brand new and as such, will not look brand new. Please expect signs of wear to include kinks in links, surface wear to gold, scuffs to stones and accept this as part and parcel of buying second hand jewellery. I will be as clear as I can with item descriptions and condition statement and aim to make sure you are aware of any potential defects before you buy.
